Food-Grade Coating Is Not Optional on a Drinking Water Tank
This is the part worth being firm about. Ordinary waterproofing compounds are not certified for contact with potable water. Applied inside a drinking water tank, they can leach into the supply. Any contractor who quotes the same rate for a drinking water tank as for a terrace either has not thought about it or is planning to use the wrong product.

How We Treat a Tank
- Drain and clean. The tank is emptied and scrubbed back to bare surface, removing sludge, algae and any loose old coating.
